KVC's Publishing Activities
| Among the Foundation's tasks and objectives is the promotion of a younger academic generation working in the fields of homeopathy, naturopathy and unconventional or complementary methods in medicine.The book series 'edition forschung' was established in 1995 as a tool for the publication and documentation of research and results established by this younger generation. At present there are 20 titles listed (Hippokrates Verlag, Stuttgart).In 1995, the Carstens
Foundation published its first Yearbook. The Yearbook
offers comprehensive documentation of the projects both past and present
funded by the Foundation. So far, five volumes have been published
(volume 1 to 3 Hippokrates Verlag, Stuttgart, from volume 4 KVC Verlag,
Essen). | The publishing of the Yearbook's fourth volume marks an important step by the Carstens Foundation: the establishment of its own publishing house, the KVC Verlag Essen.In addition to publishing the Yearbook the KVC Verlag published also the book series 'edition forschung' and 'Forum Homöopathie', a new series, which - among other aspects of homeopathy - will offer a platform for the new generation of homeopaths.The publication of scientific results in the fields of homeopathy, naturopathy and unconventional or complementary methods in medicine is in accordance with the statutes of the Foundation which explicitly states that the promotion of research and the publication of the results are among its central objectives.
