Eine multidimensionale Erfassung von Tumorverlauf, immunologischen Parametern, vegetativen und konstitutionellen Merkmalen und Lebensqualität bei einer Mammakarzinom Patientin unter ABNOBAviscum
A Multidimensional Screening of Tumor, Immunological Parameters, Vegetative and Constitutional Characteristics and Quality of Life of a Breast Cancer Patient under ABNOBAviscum Therapy
Es wird der Verlauf einer intra- und peritumoralen, sowie subkutanen und zeitweise inhalativen Therapie mit ABNOBAviscum Mali, Fraxini und Pini bei einer bei Aufnahme 80-jährigen Patientin mit einem metastasierenden Mammakarzinom (c2T3/N1/M1) über 15 Monate dargestellt. Die maximale intraläsionale Dosierung von 5 Ampullen ABNOBAviscum Fraxini Verdünnungsstufe (VS) 2 (ca. 53500 ng Mistellektin (ML)) /Woche wurde über ca. 1 Jahr verabreicht. Die Patientin wies bei Aufnahme neben ossären Metastasen mit BWK-11 Fraktur, eine Lymphangiosis carcinomatosa, bilaterale Pleuraergüsse und mit einem Karnofsky-Index von 50% eine sehr eingeschränkte Lebensqualität (LQ) auf. Vier Wochen nach Beginn der Misteltherapie (MT) tritt eine Eosinophilie und eine Erhöhung des eosinophilen kationischen Protein (ECP) auf. Hierunter kommt es zu einer Ca 15-3-Halbierung. Sonographisch findet sich eine anhaltende Tumorverkleinerung um 50% entsprechend einer partiellen Remission. Nach fünf Monaten tritt der maximale ML I Antikörper-IgG1 und -IgG3-Anstieg auf; zeitgleich kommt es zum zweiten Mal zu einer Reduktion des Ca 15-3. Nach drei Monaten verbessert sich die LQ, zunächst beim Karnofsky-Index, später im Herdecker Lebensqualitätsfragebogen (HLQ). Zunächst bessert sich die Persönlichkeitspräsenz, dann die seelische Verfassung und Vitalität, schließlich auch die körperliche Verfassung. In den folgenden fünf Monaten nimmt die Patientin ca. 10 kg an Körpergewicht zu und nähert sich damit ihrem Ausgangsgewicht vor Erkrankung an. 24 Monate nach Erstdiagnosenstellung lebt die Patientin bei guter LQ. Dies verdeutlicht, wie eine hochdosierte lokale MT tumorizid wirken und zeitlich gegliedert zu einer LQ-Verbesserung und einer Lebensverlängerung führen kann.

We are presenting the 15-months follow-up of the metastatic breast cancer (c2T3/N1/M1) of an 80 years old woman who received an intra- and peritumoral, subcutaneous and intermittent inhalative mistletoe therapy with AB-NOBAviscum Mali, Fraxini and Pini. We used the maximal intratumoral dose of 5 ampules of ABNOBAviscum Fraxini dilution level 2 (53500 ng mistletoe-lectin) per week during one year. At time of admission the patient had metastasis in the bones (thoracic vertebra 11-fracture), a lymphangiosis carcinomatosa, bilateral pleural effusions and with a Karnofsky-Index of 50% a very limited quality of life (QL). Under this mistletoe therapy (MT) we induced after four weeks an important eosinophilia and elevation of eosinophil cationic protein (ECP). Simultaneously we noticed a halving of Ca 15-3. Furthermore there was a delayed sustained reduction of the tumor volume of 50%. Thus the criterion of a partial remission were fulfilled. After five months the ML I antibody-IgG-1 and 3 were maximally increased and we perceived at the same time the second Ca 15-3 reduction. With a delay a QL-benefit was observed. First of all we had an increasing Karnofsky-index, lateron a benefit in the Herdecker Quality of Life Questionnaire. Initially we found an increasing personality presence, then a benefit in the emotional disposition and vitality state and finally a physical benefit. Finally, the patient had during the following five month a weight gain of about 10 kg and approached her precancer weight. After 24 months the patient still lives in good QL. Thus we demonstrated, how a high-dose local MT had an antitumorous effect and brought a benefit of QL and life-span.
