Abstract	According to the GKV-Index fixed combinations of homoeopathic remedies are often prescribed. It is to assume especially by physicians for 'Naturheilverfahren' and 'Homoeopathy', although fixed combinations are a controversy in these sections. In a pilot study the members of the (representative) associations 'Zentralverband der Ärzte für Naturheilverfahren (ZÄN)' and 'Deutscher Zentralverein homöopathischer Ärzte (DZVhÄ)' were interrogated anonymously about maintenance and status of fixed combinations. 92% (ZÄN) rsp. 78,5% (DZVhÄ) voted for a conservation of remedies with fixed combinations of homoeopathic substances. The frequency of prescription was quoted as 'often' by 54% (ZÄN) rsp. 40% (DZVhÄ) of the answers.
