| Abstract | At the medical postgraduate training congresses of the central association of physicians for naturopathy at Freudenstadt and the 'Medizinische Woche' at Baden-Baden, an anonymous survey was conducted to determine the importance of naturopathy in the practices of the users of such methods. A total of 374 questionnaires have been evaluated. The majority of the physicians were general practitioners. Neural therapy, phytotherapy, homoeopathy, and dietetics as a basic therapy were considered the most frequently applied methods. Naturopathy combined with classical medicine was preferably applied in case of gastrointestinal, rheumatic, and respiratory diseases. | |
