Schütte A Forschung in der Veterinärhomöopathie im Spannungsfeld zwischen Anspruch, Wirklichkeit und Kritik In: Hornung J, ed. Forschungsmethoden in der Komplementärmedizin. Stuttgart: Schattauer; 1996: 17-23. | ||
| Abstract | Despite disapproval by official medical schools of thought, homoeopathy has become an established method of treatment in numerous veterinary surgeries within the last three decades. Hahnemann's healing methods are not only criticised from outside veterinary homoeopathy circles but from within circles as well. Remedy pictures are a subject of controversy because they are derived mainly from toxicological data and transcribed human materia medica. Questions regarding the use of homoeopathy in veterinary surgeries -- regardless of their origins -- can only be answered through research alone and not by speculation. This article attempts to define the current state of research on this controversial subject. | |
