| Abstract | Research carried out with an extract from the tropical plant Galphimia Glauca have shown an antiallergic effect. Galphimia Glauca was tested in a prospective, not blind study comprising 19 ambulant patients suffering from proven pollinosis ('hayfever'). Beside good tolerance, treatment with Galphimia proved an antiallergic effect with a rate of success of 84%. The average therapy duration was 5 weeks. | |
