Beitrag zum Histamin Release aus peritonealen Mastzellen von männlichen Wistar-Ratten
DTW. 1987: 94(9): 515-516.

Abstract It has been investigated, whether a pretreatment with the homoeopathics Sulfur, Silicea and Calcium carbonicum in the potencies D6, D12, D30 and D200 led to an influence of the histamine release of rat peritoneal mast cells. Pheniramine maleate was selected as antihistamine.

Silicea and Calcium carbonicum increased the histamine release. With Silicea the release decreased in the rank order D6, D12, D200 and was with D30 negligibly under the control level. The rank order of Calcium carbonicum-induced decrease of the histamine release was D6, D30, D12 and D200. The effect of D6 an D200 was in the case of Sulfur after an initial increase with longer time of incubation in the control range. In contrast to this Sulfur D30 depressed the release under the control level. Applications of Sulfur D12 increased the release.
