	Basic Research on Homeopathy: Analysis of Publications from French-Speaking Countries by Michel Majerus, Institut für Physiologische Chemie, Tierärztliche Hochschule Hannover 01/89 - 06/89

Abstract	In the submitted thesis almost all investigations orginating from french-speaking Countries during the last fifty years are reported, which -on a scientific basis- deal with the proof of efficacy of homeopathic preparations. After a general introduction into the theoretical principles of homeopathy, a survey of the respective and rather specific research problems is given. In the special section, studies are presented according to the working field. After a detailed description of the experiments, a rather critical assessment of design and reasoning is carried out. Therby it could be demonstrated, that the majority of the discussed investigations did not meet the required standards. Various reasons for this as well as suggestions for further research work are presented in commentary after each paper.
